The popular instant messaging app, WhatsApp, has rolled out a new voice feature. On Tuesday the company revealed that the users will be able to preview their voice messages before hitting send.
“They are not mistakes, they are rehearsals. Now you can preview your messages before you hit send,” shared WhatsApp on Twitter.
Following a 27-second video clip demo of the new feature, the company stated that users can now “express themselves with voice messages they can preview.”
This new feature is one of the few advanced features that Meta has been releasing for WhatsApp in the last couple of months, including the latest “Disappearing Messages” feature, this particular feature allows users to choose a period within which messages can disappear, from 24 hours up to 3 months.
“With Disappearing Messages, you choose how long your messages stay around. Set to default on all new chats, choose the duration, and get more control of your conversations. Not every message needs to stick around forever. Rolling out over the next few weeks,” stated WhatsApp.
