Kenyan musician, Willy Paul, has had it all with the entertainment and now wants to join politics.

In a latest social media post, WillyPaul revealed that he is planning to vie for the Mathare parliamentary seat in the coming 2022 general elections.

Willy Paul took to social media and inform his followers about his interest in politics citing that he is the change that they have been yearning for.

While it is not yet clear which political party he is going to take a stand with, Mr. Paul will have to compete with the current MP Oluoch Anthony Tom of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

“Are you ready Mathare? Let’s bring that change,” stated Willy Paul.

As it is now common for artists to quit music and join politics, Willy Paul is just the latest entry following the footsteps of artists-turned-politicians like Jaguar, MC Jesse and Jalango.
